HopeStrong is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves students through release time Bible education ministry. Classes are provided during the school day, off school campus and funded by local contributions. With parent consent students are transported to a nearby site that is insured by HopeStrong. Trained volunteers, with current background checks, present a non-denominational Bible class. Students are engaged and participate in activities during a non-core subject time during the school day. Classes last about an hour and no core subject instructional time is missed.
HopeStrong is a collaboration of over 34 area churches and community partners that work together to staff and maintain each site. The Bible is the authority for everything that is taught. HopeStrong has a Statement of Faith that all churches and volunteers follow that is adopted from School Ministries, a national organization that supports release time Bible education across the nation.
HopeStrong has a governing Board comprised of volunteers from many different Christian churches and organizations. The Board aligns with School Ministries and works closely with School Ministries Ohio to ensure the absolute best programming is offered to our students.
HopeStrong is fully insured and receives no state of federal funds. All funding is local donations.
HopeStrong is committed to offering the best non-denominational Bible education classes possible to families and students that are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity to grow in knowledge and hide God's word in their hearts.
