HopeStrong Released Time Bible Education is a community-led collaborative program that provides Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) to students during the school day with all funding provided by community donors. Written parental permission must be obtained for students to attend. Students are released to leave school, for about one hour, one day per week for Bible class. Trained volunteers accompany students from the school building door to high quality transportation and to a nearby location off school property for an engaging Bible class.
All volunteers go through an extensive application and approval process, including background checks, and, we are committed to child protection and safety policies. At least two volunteers are required to be with students at all times, and the program is responsible for taking students’ attendance and for students’ safety. The ministry is insured in every aspect –
volunteers, leadership, and transportation.
The program’s overarching goal is to instill hope in students through faith in God.
